Privacy Policy

Appray is a local-first product-decision tool. Everything you type stays on your device. There is no account, no backend, and no AI service involved.
Data stored on device
The app stores your project idea, selected answers, custom answers, feature scores, and generated report locally on your device. This data is used only to run the app — saving your progress and generating your report. It is not transmitted anywhere.
No account
Appray does not require an account. We do not ask for your name, email, or any sign-in.
No AI service
Your answers are never sent to an AI service. Reports are generated on your device from your own choices, transparent scoring rules, and local templates.
No backend storage
In this version the app does not upload your project data to any server. There is no cloud sync.
No tracking or analytics
The app does not track you across other apps or websites, and includes no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Purchases
Appray is free, and the full report, your saved history and Markdown export stay free. Appray Pro is a single optional purchase that adds parallel projects, PDF export and report comparison. Any transaction is handled entirely by Apple through In-App Purchase: Appray never sees your payment details, and Apple’s own privacy policy governs that part. What Appray stores about it is one flag on your device recording that the purchase happened, and nothing else.

The App Store transaction
Downloading the app is a transaction with Apple: Apple processes your Apple Account, device and download data as an independent controller under Apple’s privacy policy. That processing happens before Appray ever runs, and none of it reaches us.
Children
Appray is a productivity tool for founders and makers. It collects no personal data and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the effective date above is updated and the change is listed here, so you can tell whether the version you are reading differs from the one you read last time. The previous wording stays available on request.

Your rights, and what they can apply to
The app itself holds nothing we could give you or delete for you. Your answers, verdicts and reports live on your device and never reach us, so there is no copy here to request and no server to erase it from. If you want it gone, deleting the app takes all of it with it.
Two things do reach us, and your rights apply to both in full. If you email support, we hold that correspondence. If you visit this site, our host records an ordinary server log. For either of those you can ask what we have, ask for a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to us keeping it, by writing to support@appray.app. We answer within a month, as the GDPR requires. If you think we have handled it badly you can complain to the Croatian supervisory authority, AZOP, or to the authority where you live.
We will not ask you to prove who you are unless we genuinely cannot tell, which for an email conversation is rare, and demanding identity documents to answer a question about an email would collect more about you than the request itself.
